When Laurie and I first found out that Samantha was adoptable, and saw she was terribly sick, we had just started attending a new church. One of the first things we did was ask the staff to be in prayer for Samantha, her illness and the whole situation. For the next few weeks we received a postcard each week from the individual in the prayer room who had led intercessory prayer for Samantha. And GOd also uses he knowledge of blessings to bless. Becuase we knew Smanatha was being 'covered' in prayer, we were at peace. Again, this was not becauase of anything we did.

"Dear Frank and Laurie,
A prayer has gone up from this prayer room for safe travel and for the health of Samantha".
and
"Dear Frank and Laurie,
Please know that both you and your little Samantha are in our prayers. I pray for GOd's Hand to guide you and His healing Hand to touch Samantha. Always know He is right there with you - in SA or Haiti! hearing and answering every prayer."
