I guess if there is any part of this whole discussion where it becomes uncomfortable for some, it is the discussion of paying money for a baby. Oh, well. I can think of worse things in life; for one, the challenge of living in Haiti as a child, and living to tell the story!!
This week we were able to make the big plunge and send our love offering for Samanatha to FEH's bank. In my lingo, the premium has been paid...the benefit can be collected, in due time.
On teh US side, all is comeplted and signed off. For those of you following along, the agenda will work something like this:
* Samantha's Home Study
* Samantha's Psychological Test
* IBESR (Haiti's Adoption folks)
* Courts
* US Embassy in Port-au-Prince, Haiti for entrance visa for Samntha
* Ta da!!
It can actually take up to 6-8 months more. Seriously. We will be in constant prayer for a miraculous intervention - however - that Samantha be with us by Christmas, herre or in Haiti. With you be in prayer with us?!!
