Laura and Samantha have both been a little under the weather lately, even though they have been living at the Orphanage in Port-au-Prince which is right next to Hopital Espoire, where they receive great medical attention.
Laura, we learned late last week is asthmatic and Samantha has been caryying around a low grade fever for a while.
We decided the girls should stay together and live with Nick and Madeleine at home in Camp Perrion. So on Sunday, upon arriving back in Haiti from a stint in the US getting their oldest off to college, Nick and Madeleine picked up Sam and Laura from the nursery and took them back home with them. They will get great family attention and will join the home-school gang. Plus, Laura will get an immersion in English which, at her age, could conceivably maybe her ner bi-lingual by the time we pick her up.
This all really made me feel better.
