Ask Laura to start thinking about a middle name since she doesn’t have one, right? Let her know that forever mommy and daddy have final approval rights. (Just in case your daughters help her to come up with something totally out of this world, not that they would……)
Poor Samantha doesn’t get a choice. We’ve decided on Grace for her middle name.
Also, let Laura know her name is very special in our family. In fact my dad named me for his two favorite cousins, Laura Bailey and Aurie Mitchell. Yes, Aurie is a popular name on my dad’s side. That’s how I ended up as Laurie.
Also, Frank’s grandma who lived to be 104 or 105 was named Laura.
Just an fyi for you. We love both names, Laura and Samantha so those won’t be changed.
P.S. I like Elise for a middle name. Ask Laura what she thinks of that? French version of Elizabeth, from Elisabet, the Greek form of the Hebrew name Elisheba meaning "God is my oath".
Need to go. Frank and I are going to do something today, haven’t decided what; maybe Sea World, Zoo, hiking?
