I don't know how many of you feel like Laurie and I, but it seems more and more we want less and less for ourselves at Christmas. I know it if God working in us, and not a virtue or our own, for sure.
Anyway, I have to say we did receive a gift this year that I woud never give back or agree to give away for anything in the world. Pretty self-ish, huh? Yes it is.
I am talking about the gift of a phone call Laurie and I received Christmas morning from Madeleine in Haiti with our daughters Laura and Samantha wanting to wish us a Merry Christmas. You see, we have never spoken a word to either of them, so for us to receive this blessing on Christmas morning is something we will cherish forever!
