Each official change to our adoption dossier, requires the following:
a) Revise the original document
b) Sign/have the document signed
c) Have the document notarized
d) Send the document to the State of Texas for their seal of approval document
e) Send everything to the State Department for their seal of approval document
f) Have the original document, the State of Texas and the State Department documents translated into French, Haiti's official langue-de-commerce.
g) Forward to the Haitian Embassy/Consul in D.C. who approves, then forwards to Haiti.
So I have to now begin a) with the original Power of Attorney document, as Haiti changed the rules on us half way through the game.
