A LIGHT at the end of the tunnel!

This just in this morning from Nick in Haiti who had to send it from a Cybercafe as his internet has been out for weeks....

Hi Frank,

.... we wanted to let you know that your girls will be taken to Port under the advice of Gladys. She said it's a good time for them to come up now, since their dossier is being reviewed. They need to be in the village where INS inspection could take place. So we are taking our dear Laura and Samie to Port this Sunday April 17th. We're feeling sad already knowing that they will be gone from our family. Samie is so much interesting. She entertains everyone in the home! She's a singer and she performs!

Anyways, we wanted to keep you updated on developments on them. We love you guys, our prayers continue to be for this adoption situation, and we hope everything finalizes in a reasonable time, going from here.

This sure sound to us like it is the beginning of the end of the process. Mind you it will probably still be 6-8 weeks, but that's nothing when you consider we've been at this since October of 2003. Honestly. Please keep our girls in prayer, as well as the Avignons, as they prepare to mourn the real loss of these girls in their home and life. We are so thankful for Nick and Madeleine!

Frank (for us both)
