The US approved this adoption a while ago; Haiti has also now finally added it's ok. Before we can get exit visas however for the girls, INS doed a background check on them (!!) to make sure we are not bringing in a child under the wrong pretenses. So whatwe thought was the last step was really penultimate.... We just received this:

The (Agency's) apponitment (with INS) is for june 22nd, they said it's better if you redo your fingerprints because they will expire in July (18 months from when we first started this process) and they started asking for a notorized G-28, the one you sent is not notorized, can you just redo and notorize it, because it will take a while if i mail it to.
As soon as INS is clear you can come. (It can take a week or more....)
