Laurie and I made a strategic decision that I will go alone to pick up the girls and process them through INS in Port-au-Prince. There is an uncomfortable level of violence in the city and to put us all at risk would serve to purpose.

In the unlikely event something were to happen while picking up the girls and processing in INS, we really would need someone here in the States who knows what's going on to apply political pressure in Haiti to help resolve the situation.
We are NOT expecting any problems. We are remembering the need to continue in prayer during this entire process, but expecially now.
