Well, the good news is that all seems to still be on track; it just continues at a snail's pace. That is to be expected. I was able to e-mail a stuatus request to our case worker this morning by e-mail and I received her response below.

The papers should start legalization next week, we are just waiting for the adoption certificte. Next week i will schedule INS appointement and i will let you know the date.
