Denver, Co ushered in our girls' first foray in the frigid realm of snow. It way surprise some of you that there is no snow in Haiti; if so, you need remedial geography again. Denver doesn't really get that cold and large snowfalls are usually limited to the mountains. Nevetheless, the winter of 2006 was a doozy and the girls were a bit awestruck as we drove from a warm Texas to a frigid Colorado. When we arrived at the New Mexico border, it was closed due to weather!!!
