Just got off the phone with Laurie 9:00pm. Surgeon had swung by to check up on her; I am sure it was already schduled, but nurse Sam I am sure encouraged him because of Laurie's disposition. It was a really good visit and Laurie sounds good tonight.
To keep this post short enough so I can go to sleep soon, I will give you the highlights.
* She can wash her hair even tonight! Of course I get to be the greek bearing gifts tomorrow morning of shampoo and conditioner.
* For 4 weeks, there must be:
- No exercize
- No yoga
- No sauna
- No vino ( ay caramba!)
- No cleaning
- No laundry
Well, from a guy's perspective, except for the vino, and maybe the sauna, I'd say wohoo! But, really, if it was me, the doc would probably have said:
- No computers
- No motorcycle
- No cooking
- No single malts
- and so on...
Recovery is probably all relative.
Back to see my honey in the am with the girls being treated to movie and a lunch by Karen L and kids. Wait, I meant I'm being treated by them going to a movie...Who amI trying to kid?!
