Today is not such a good day for Laurie. She appears to not have slept so well and is quite groggy and acheing today. She cannot take aspirin or ibuprofen so I got her some Tylenol and she is back in bed.
Please be in prayer. I am increasingly aware that there is likely some spiritual warfare in play as well as physical illness. When Laurie is well and up and at 'em, she is a bright shining light in some quite dark areas of life - advocacy to women at risk; to kids on the street; to single moms, etc.... These are areas I am sure the god of this world would love to get less attention to.
Pray for endurance and confidence for Laurie, and that Almighty God of creation will sustain her through these last couple days before surgery and protect her from lasting impact of any attacks.
