Friday (today) was the day when Laurie had an appointment to have a pre-operation physical in preparation for Thursday surgery. Everything has to be so right....
At 49 one might think we had pretty much mastered our health industry. I mean we have pretty much everything going for us: we have a good health plan, we are educated, mobile, are organized, etc.... And yet in retrospect, I walked away from today with a new respect of how we have a good medical industry, that could be great.
What was initially proably supposed to have been a 1.5 hour physical (EKG, blood panels, X-ray) turned into an all day affair.
