All in all today was a great day of distractions from focusing on Laurie's situation.
We started out with our community gathering at the Journey and then afterwards some dear, urbanite friends Barb and Blake joined us for lunch. Another dear friend Robin and her daughter Bella dropped by bearing treats that helped distract us as well. It was really fun catching up. By the time they left, Laurie was about to sleep in her chair. her stamina really has taken a hit - probably another meds/stress thing.
After church today our 13 yr old Laura joined the Journey hiking team as they took advantage of another beautiful Sunday and hit the trails in the hills around Boulder.
Did you happen to see the Broncos game? Ahem.... and I was worried about the Bears. I had fogotten about it and then caught the last two minutes; I was confused for a second as I saw the score and confused it with a slow basket ball game.
