I would be remiss the girls did not make it in here this weekend. With all the stress in our life since Monday, it was expected the first day or so the girls would take more than their fair share. It is family life. Still, for those of you who know them, Laura and Sami and fighters so they did great. During mom's nap today the girls and I went out on errands together and then finished up walking to McDonalds, grabbing an ice-cream cone and walking back talkaing about stuff.
Indirectly, I reminded them about mom's illness and just opened the topic up for permission to discuss and ask questions. They are not there yet much, but they will be. I told them I cried last night about it, and we hugged. My prayers are as much for my girls as for me. In the end I am as selfish as the next person; but I don't want my girls suffering another loss yet.
