You can tell things are going pretty well now as I have been slacking a bit sharing with you how things are. In a way we are in a calm before the *treatment* storm, but Laurie is recouperating very well from surgery.
I have to say, there are some interesting little things that have me wondering if maybe they took out a little something extra during surgery. I mean that in a tongue-in-cheek sort of way, I think. Well, for example:
* Before surgery Laurie was a clean freak, and since surgery she has slacked off. I can only assume it is a temporary thing as this is the closet thing to DNA Laurie has, and to lose it, welll, is unthinkable. Still....
* Laurie was an orgnizatoin freak, and since surgery she has been a small swirling dirvish (although I don't really know what the term means). If I don't know where she is, I just follow the piles. Again, not a big deal? But SO unlink her.
* Remember the MEAT thing (new readers will need to read back)? It is still going fairly strong. For a moment I thought she was going to bail this weekend, but something happened, and I got her to agree to let me throw some sirloins on the grill tonight. And she had one...RARE! Roaaaaar!! What can I say? Tasty!
Much more, of course, is the same as before and Laurie continues to improve her recall daily. And I thank God daily.
