It was a good day today, mostly lazy. Good day for lazy. God's day of rest!
We are getting about three solid hours of energy out of Laurie each day now, and then it is rest, wake, do a bit, rest, wake, do a bit, etc... Some days it is higher than others.
Laurie and I skipped church and spent time at home together and the girls went with Yvonne and kids again. Thank you Yvonne. About 30 minsutes into it, I get a call saying Sami had an 'accident' of the wet kind, so we took off to pick her up; of course we got stuck with folks wanting to talk with Laurie. Sami pretty much dried off while we chatted. Bad daddy.
Anyway, Ed and Peggy brought us a dinner of WONDERFUL meatballs in read sauce, spaghetti and texas toast. It was such a treat not to have to spend the time cokking tonight. Dinner was a big hit - as all of them have been (especially with me).
