Laurie had another great week. She continues to feel better and better in the mornings and lasts a bit longer in the evenings. You will be pleased to know she has been weaning off of one of her two seizure meds and is now only taking one. Wohoo! Her hair is thikning, but she is thinking and talking pretty much like new, I think.

Laurie and I are also trying to engage Laura and Samantha in the meaning of Advent. This is not the first time. We have never believed in talking down to our girls; and so we try to explain about the history of Israel as God's chosen prople. We have talk about their fallen state and the kings, and prophets, etc... but we seem to be talking to ourself. Who knows? I might be surprised.
Jesus does not NEED us to gt his message of love and grace (not to mention our prodigal nature) to our girls. I believe it is sometimes WE who need to be a part of it. The way I see it, Jesus has already done this before in their life at least once, and is just permitting us to be engaged in the process once again. Haleluia!
As I stated in the last post, the further we get away from the accident and surgery, the more I feel constanlty tired, and the more the girls seem to be acting up. Not a good mix. I am acting quite imperfectly as a dad during this time and pray God's continued guidance and forgiveness as we continue down this walk. Thanks for your continued prayers!
