Happy New Years, friends and family. May the year 2011 bring you and your loved ones renewed evidence of God's presence in your life. We are so thankful for each and every one of you.
Remember that you are the salt and light to the entire world! Be bold, not timid. Go with what you got shining your light in such a way that others will see the wonderful servant that you are, and will want to be a part of it!
Only 6 more treatments, and counting.... Come January 11th!! For those still monitoring this blog, this past month and a half has been a real slog for Laurie. It has taken the a lot out of her and I know it would really make her day and put wind in her sails if on the 11th she received some encouraging e-mail. :)
Down deep inside, I know Laurie is unsure about the prognosis and fears for what is always a possibility - that this monster is not altogether gone, and will rear its ugly head again. Shoot, it's my worst fear. it will be some months before we really know anything, and we cannot live from day to day in fear!
I also know that the bible does not talk about the power and efficacy of prayer to you and me just for kicks. I believe you and I as heirs to the Kingdom have been given the power and authority from God to help change her situation, and that is what I am shooting for, no less. I know you are all with us!!
