One Year Ago Today....

Well, here we are already at the one year milestone of Laurie's tumor discovery. Hard to believe, especially as I was reading through all the blog and email correspondance at the time. We not only made it, but we continue to do quite well, all things considered, learning how to adapt to our new life. Laurie continues on bursts of chemotherapy each month and will until March or so.

I know during this past year we have utterly neglected some of our relationships with folks we love dearly, but it is only because we have lived most of the year in overwhelming mode. But we are making it. It is our sincere desire to slowly get reconnected with you. Thanks for understanding.

These are the flowers I sent Laurie to celebrate Oct 11th and Life. Somewhat ironically, I was travelling on this day as I was a year ago... :p

Another good way we are celebrating life is our 25th anniversary on Nov 1. We'll probably do it up right and splurge at the Olive Garden...or Chilies.... ;)

I want to just thank all of you who during this past year reached out in act and/or in prayer during our crisis. I know now that many of you were sent as instruments of God at the time, and your involvement was a testimony to us of His love for us. Thank you with all our hearts.

Our love,

Laurie, Frank, Laura, Samantha, Indigo, Teddy Bear and Nocciola Livingston
