In a very real sense, today is the first day of the rest of our lives. Last night was the last dose of chemotherapy she has been taking every month since her initial radiation ended one year ago. No more meds? Wow. We are more than ready and got a clean bill of heath last week that gets validated with an MRI on Monday. Then no more checkups or bloodwork for 3 months.
We are going out to dinner Thursday pm to celebrate.
These large life events don't happen in a vacuum, but it is somewhat ironic that during the very same week Frank will be changing jobs after almost 10th years with Opportunity Interntional. Last official day is this Wednesday. More to come on that....
Thanks for all your continued prayers - we love you all.
